When you subscribe to Haven, we maintain your system remotely. That means we have some level of access to your setup. We looked into giving every customer their own isolated domain and security layer, but the cost and complexity of maintaining that per household would make Haven unaffordable. So we chose honesty instead: we can technically see your data, but we encrypt everything in transit and at rest, we have strict internal policies against accessing it, and frankly, we want nothing to do with it.
